High-Quality Affordable Education
Ohio EduCare Inc, an Ohio SGO, is committed to providing financial assistance to students enabling them to get an excellent education at a private school whose goals and values align with their own. Private schools are generally funded through tuition, fundraisers, and donations rather than real estate taxes. Providing a high-quality education is costly, but Ohio EduCare can make this an affordable reality.
Donate your Tax Dollars
Ohio Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) make scholarships possible by providing Ohio taxpayers an incentive to donate to a nonprofit-certified SGO and in return receive an offsetting tax benefit when filing their income taxes (limitations apply).
How does
this work?
Donors can make their donations to Ohio EduCare assured that all recipient schools will be thoroughly vetted to make sure students are receiving a high-quality education that also promotes Christian principles, values, and Bible study.
Each school will be reviewed annually for continued compliance and approval. Students who have been or will be attending these approved schools will be eligible to apply for financial assistance via the scholarship program. The scholarship program will be administrated by Ohio EduCare in conjunction with the approved schools. While all students are eligible, specific preference will be given to students from households whose income is less than 300% of the federal poverty level.
